Bill Rowlett
Managing Director
The Eau Claire native has been involved with baseball in Eau Claire for most of his life, having played on high school and amateur state baseball championship teams in Eau Claire. The four-year letter winner at UW-Eau Claire was captain during his junior and senior seasons. While attending college, he managed the American Legion team and directed the city's youth baseball programs. Over the years, Bill has served in numerous management roles with local baseball and fast pitch softball programs. The father of two adult sons (Brett and Ron), he and his wife Sue reside in neighboring Elk Mound.

Dale Varsho
Director of Operations / Field Manager
Dale has been the Field Manager for the Express since the inaugural 2005 season. The 2010 Northwoods League Manager of the Year has led the Express to the playoffs three times, winning Eau Claire's first NWL Championship in 2010. The Express also reached the Championship Series in 2007 and the Divisional Series in 2009. The 2012 season marked his seventh as the team's Director of Operations. A native of Marshfied, Wis., Dale is no stranger to Eau Claire baseball, having played a number of years for the Eau Claire Cavaliers. He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, UW-Eau Claire. After a short coaching stint at UW-River Falls, Dale served as the head coach and Director of Facilities at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wis. from 1999-2001. Dale and his wife Jennifer live in Eau Claire with their three children: Jake, Averie and Christian.

Andy Neborak
General Manager
Andy finishes his sixth season as a part of the Express organization, with four of those being full-time. The 2012 season was his third year as the General Manager after one year as the Assistant Director of Operations. Before being hired full-time, he served as the Stadium Operations intern during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. In that role, Andy's duties included the hiring and scheduling of part-time staff, directing all events at Carson Park, concessions and inventory control among other things. The Waconia, Minn. native graduated from UW-Eau Claire in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and currently lives in Eau Claire.

Doug Raftery
Director of Broadcasting and Media Sales
Doug returns for a second season with the Express, his first as a member of the full-time staff. He served as the Play-by-Play Announcer in 2012 and was named the Co-Broadcaster of the Year in the Northwoods League. Doug will continue broadcasting in his new role and will assist in corporate sales during the offseason. Doug began his broadcasting career as a summer intern with the Rockbridge Rapids in the Valley Baseball League in 2010 and continued gaining experience with the Florence Freedom of the Independent Frontier League in 2011. In addition, he broadcast basketball and softball while attending college at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. The Brick, NJ native graduated from Hood College in May of 2012 with a Communication Arts degree with a broadcasting emphasis.

Michael Borden
Director of Ticket Sales
Michael returns for a second season with the Express and first as the Director of Ticket Sales. He spent the 2012 season as a marketing intern, focusing on youth baseball outings, merchandise, the Kids Club and sponsor relations. In his new role, Michael will work part-time in the spring overseeing all ticket sales in the Express office. He will turn his focus in the summer months to supervising the Express intern staff and overseeing the marketing and ticket sales departments. The Holmen, Wis. native is finishing up his senior year at UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Marketing.

Marie Kunferman
Concession Manager
Marie has been with the Express organization since the inaugural 2005 season working at Carson Park. This was her second season as the Concession Manager. Marie has been a familiar face to Express fans over the years as the head bartender at Carson Park, which is a role she continues to fill in her current role. She has great knowledge and experience running a concession operation, as she was involved in the operation at Carson Park before the Express began play in Eau Claire. Her current role includes the majority of food and beverage ordering along with supervision of all concession and operations staff at the stadium. When not at Carson Park, Marie also works at Robbins Elementary School and Oakleaf Surgical Hospital

Jeff Wolf
Director of Video Production
Jeff recently completed his fourth season overseeing the online web broadcast for the Express. He brings with him 15 years of experience in broadcast television. Prior to joining the Express, Jeff worked for one cable channel and three TV stations, most recently serving as the Production Manager at WQOW TV-18 in Eau Claire. He has directed a variety of sports and events during this time. When not working for the Express he works on other video productions as "That Video Guy Productions" and does free-lance work with other local production companies. Nick Erickson
Media Relations Intern
Nick joins the Express staff for his first season as the Media Relations Intern in 2013. He will help the front office prepare for the season on a part-time basis in the spring and will transition into a full-time internship for the summer The Platteville, Wis. native has previous experience in media relations in working for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in their Sports Information Department since the fall of 2011. There he has covered football, basketball, softball, swimming and diving, hockey, cross country and track and field. Nick is a Sophomore at UW-Eau Claire working towards a degree in Journalism

Paul Schommer
Public Address Announcer
A native of Hudson, WI, Paul finishes his seventh season as the Public Address Announcer for the Express. In addition, Paul spent the 2010 offseason and 2011 season as the Director of Ticket Sales. In this role, Paul coordinated group outings at Carson Park, assisted in the supervision of the intern staff and handled many of the community appearances of Express players. In his public address role, Paul is responsible for the majority of the announcements you hear at Carson Park before, during, and after Express games. In addition to his public address duties, Paul oversaw the Public Relations interns in 2012 for the Express along with all community appearances during the season. Paul spent 12 1/2 years as a Social Studies teacher at Hudson High School. For the past 10 years, Paul has served as the "Voice of the Titans" at Tartan High School in Oakdale, MN where he does PA work for football, boys and girls basketball, baseball, and track and field.

Phil Tripper
On-Field Announcer
Originally from LaCrescent, Minn., Phil served his first season with the Eau Claire Express as the On-Field announcer in 2012. Phil has partnered with the Eau Claire Express on many occassions with his duties at Maverick Media, and is looking forward to his first season in an exciting new role. A 2006 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, Phil has lived and worked in the Eau Claire area since 2002 and began his broadcasting career as an intern for Maverick Media in 2005. While he has been a familiar voice on almost all of the stations of Maverick Media, you can now listen to Tripper weekdays on Todays WAXX 104.5 FM between 2pm and 7pm. An avid Express baseball fan since thier inaugural season, Phil is excited to finally bring his energy and passion for baseball and broadcasting from the stands to the field. His broadcasting experience and energy are a welcome addition to the Eau Claire Express Family.

Jackie Tollefson
Host Family Coordinator
Jackie finishes her sixth season as the Express Host Family Coordinator. In this position she coordinates all host family gatherings during the season while also overseeing the distribution of materials such as pictures, buttons and shirts to all families. Jackie serves as the main contact for the host families for any concerns that come up during the season.
