Bill Rowlett

The Eau Claire native has been involved with baseball in Eau Claire for most of his life, having played on high school and amateur state baseball championship teams in Eau Claire.
The four-year letter winner at UW-Eau Claire was captain during his junior and senior seasons. While attending college, he managed the American Legion team and directed the city’s youth baseball programs.
Over the years, Rowlett has served in numerous management roles with the Eau Claire Cavaliers. He and his wife Sue reside in neighboring Elk Mound.

Dale Varsho
Director of Operations / Field Manager
Dale Varsho has led the Express on the field since its inaugural season in 2005 and is entering his second season as the Director of Operations.
Varsho held many coaching positions prior to his tenure with the Express, most recently having been the head coach and Director of Facilities at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wis. from 1999-2001. Under Varsho, the V-Hawks went 76-50, including a former school record of 32 wins in the 2000 season.
Dale lives in Marshfield, Wis. with his wife Jennifer and their three children: Jake, Averie and Christian. |

Brett Schroedel
Assistant General Manager
Brett Schroedel started with the Express in May 2005 as the media relations intern.
Following the season, Schroedel stayed on board as an operations intern to complete his Masters Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Schroedel has held the position of Assistant General Manager since November 2005.
The Eau Claire native graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. |

Scott Montesano
Radio Announcer
A native of Utica, NY, Scott is back for his second season as the radio announcer for the Eau Claire Express. He has announced more than 200 consecutive games for the Express. Prior to working with the Express organization, he was the radio announcer for the Vermont Mountaineers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2005. Prior to that, he spent the summers of 2003 and 2004 as the Director of Communications for the Sanford Mainers, also of the NECBL. In addition, Scott has worked as the sports editor for a weekly newspaper in Upstate New York and also served as a marketing coordinator for the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Scott recently completed his third season as the Fargo Moorhead Jets' Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations, handling many of the team's written materials along with providing the radio play-by-play of every game. In addition to his communication duties, Scott coordinates the team's internship program and group sales activity. He also helps plan promotions and public appearances for the team. In February 2005, he was given the honor of being one of the announcers for that season's North American Hockey League All-Star Game in Frisco, TX.
Scott is a May 2004 graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in communications and psychology. While in college, Scott announced Division I baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse and even water polo. He also founded an internet broadcast site that covered the school's club hockey program.
When not working for the FM Jets, Scott can be found working out, watching his beloved New York Yankees, Syracuse Orange or New York Jets on television, or taking part in the Fargo Optimist club where he is a new member. |

Paul Schommer
Public Address Announcer
Paul begins his second year as the Public Address Announcer for the Express.A native of Hudson, WI, Paul is a high school social studies teacher and has spent the past ten years teaching at Hudson High School.
In addition to his teaching duties, Paul has been the "Voice of the Raiders" over the years as the public address announcer for Hudson Football, Boys and Girls Soccer, Wrestling, Boys and Girls Basketball, Gymnastics, and Track and Field. Since 2000, Paul has also taken over the announcing duties for Tartan High School in Oakdale, MN, serving as their primary public address announcer for Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Baseball, and Track and Field.
In addition to his work as a public address announcer, Paul has served in an emcee role for many sports banquets, academic awards ceremonies, Proms, and Graduation ceremonies.From 1996-2004, Paul was a coach in the Hudson High School baseball program, including serving five years as an assistant to former Express Assistant Coach Craig Jilek.In his spare time, Paul enjoys collecting sports memorabilia and following his favorite professional team, the Minnesota Twins.Paul's philosophy is "Any day at the ballpark is a great day- Go Express!" |

Matt Selvig
On-Field Announcer
Matt currently works for WWIB Radio 103.7 FM doing the morning show called M&M's In The Morning. He also keeps busy in the summer DJing weddings, leading worship at his church, and playing golf on a regular basis.
Matt considers himself extremely blessed to have a wonderful wife named Deb and an awesome 2 year old son named Colman. The Selvig's have lived in the Eau Claire area for close to 5 years and enjoy all of the outdoor activities that it offers.. |
