Dale Varsho
Director of Operations / Field Manager
Varsho has been the Field Manager for the Express since the inaugural 2005 season. Dale has led the Express to the playoffs twice, reaching the Championship Series in 2007 and the Divisional Playoffs in 2009. This season will also mark his fifth as the team's Director of Operations. A native of Marshfied, Wis., Varsho is no stranger to Eau Claire baseball, having played a number of years for the Eau Claire Cavaliers. He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, UW-Eau Claire. After a short coaching stint at UW-River Falls, Varsho served as the head coach and Director of Facilities at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wis. from 1999-2001. Dale and his wife Jennifer live in Eau Claire With their three children: Jake, Averie and Christian.

Vic Cable
Pitching Coach
Cable returns to the role of pitching coach after spending one season as the Express bench coach. He previously served as the pitching coach during the 2005-2008 seasons. Cable brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the Express staff. Following a standout career at UW-Eau Claire, he set career records for wins, strikeouts, innings pitched and appearances during a 15-year career with the Eau Claire Cavaliers. Cable has served as an assistant coach at Eau Claire Memorial and Chippewa Falls High School, where he continues to teach. Vic lives in Eau Claire with his wife Pam and daughters Katie and Emma.

Shawn Peck
Assistant Coach
A native of Chippewa Falls, WI, Peck returns to the Express for his fourth season this year. Peck played under Dale Varsho at both UW-River Falls and Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. While at Viterbo, Peck set the single-season record for wins and single-season and career marks for complete games. His 1.06 ERA in 2000 led the nation and earned him NAIA All-American honors. Peck coached at Viterbo for two seasons following his playing career before moving on to become the Head Coach at Thorp High School. Following his stint at Thorp, Peck moved on to become the pitching coach at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, a position he currently holds during the Express off-season.
